Cool pity. Maybe when your can afford pick up some bands and you can make a lot of use of them for core work and pallof.

You can also rig a pretty effective setup with a 2 dollar nylon braided dog leash. You just loop a weight at one end and hang it over a racked barbell about chest high (with weights on the barbell). Then you just need a way to hold onto the other end of the line and that provides the stress. You can be hardcore and just hold onto the leash itself (or whatever piece of rope). That will make for a pretty good basic pallof setup. The only problem is that the line will tend to slip around from side to side a bit on the barbell. But it works. Course I know you can mcguyver anything
