^^ to me, music, no matter what type, is about inspiration and emotional response. certain music elicits(sp?) very violent, angry responses, which I like because it motivates me. Others are more sullen which I really cant stand (f'in emo crap), I dont like to feel like that, so I dont like that type of music. so on and so forth.

rap is just like any other type of music, you have some very serious and talented artists, then you have bubble gum wrappers. the difference in rap is, bg rappers try to act as though they fit into the violent, outlaw architype, which of course they dont. So you have a huge devide.
