I don't think it's very well thought out. It would leave you physically imbalanced although, aesthetically, it might leave you looking like a body builder from his era. I don't think it would work very well, honestly.
It seems like Becker just picked a bunch of muscles that he thought make a good physique, and then listed some of the stereotypical exercises to hit each of them. Muscles support each other and doing a very small variety of not-so-compound lifts would be a good way to get hurt in the long run, IMO.
