Creatine mono is almost tasteless. Certainly not sweet. So it would have had to have a bunch of sweet stuff added to it.

High GI carbohydrates can be fine after a workout because of the so-called window of oppurtunity..actually just read throught the pre and post workout nutrition sticky (nutrition section) and it will explain all of that. Could be that high gi carbs post workout are not for you or it could be that you need to be able to control the dose.

BUT if you feel like it's too much then for sure don't do it. But again creatine is NOT sugar nor does it have anything to do with sugar. The so-called insulin affects from creatine themselves are not going to be that pronounced. It is simply a tri-peptide (three amino's). Many creatine prodcuts have high gi carbs added to them to act as a shuttle.

Sounds like you need to do more research on creatine itself to answere all your basic questions. But no, you are not playing russian rouletee. Creatine is the most researched sup pretty much ever and it has yet to be shown to have any real safety concerns.

And there is no scientific validity to the statement that creatine needs to be "cycled" like the other guy was saying. Just one more word attached to creatine that makes the media think it's a steroid.

If you act sanctimonious I will just list out your logical fallacies until you get pissed off and spew blasphemous remarks.
