LOL, do you hold your breath the whole time you lift weights? Resistance training is mostly anaroebic. But it depends on the intensity. But anaroebic metabolism can only be maintained a few minutes at a time at most. Sprinting is MOST DEFINITELY anaroebic. Even in longer distance races where you pace yourself for most of it and rely on aerobic metabolism when you put on that burst of speed at the end you go anaroebic. You should probably look this stuff up before you get into it with me...

As I was trying to say before we never truly go completely anaerobic or aerobic..just the proportions change and the energy requirements go up with intensity. When you are at an all-out sprint your muscle's requirement for fuel is too great to rely completely on oxygen metabolism, simply speaking.

Look this stuff up yourself. I dont want to write a thesis on it. Anaerobic does not mean "not breathing".
