First, you're looking very good. I want to tell you that from my experience doing higher reps with less weight will not help you effectively cut. It's a big misconception. The best way to cut is to work on your diet and incorperate more cardio (not too much, though.) Studies have shown that 16 minutes of intense cardio can burn more fat than trying to run a marathon. I'll try and provide a link when I find it. I think it's under Max-Ot cardio. It's high intensity training or HIT. For guys like us, we don't want to loose strength and mass for the sake of cutting. Stay on your current program and just tweek your diet. Results won't be fast, but they will be overall better for you.
Thanks for the advice. I agree with you about the diet, which is one of my weak points. I started using lower weights to help my joints as well. I need to start taking glucosamine. I still consider myself to be young at 34, soon to be 35. But, after lifting weights for 11 years, I can feel it. Thought it would be a nice break for my joints. However, 4 weeks into it, and I miss the heavy weights. I'm a notorious tight wad. I'll have to break down, and buy some glucosamine.
