well depending on what area you are sensative in i guess you may be able to do it in parts

back to the pecs
otis. the pec major is one muscle. like i said try to move the top of your pec by itself, the middle, lower, or outer without moving the other.......................you cant. if you try to move one the whole thing will move. the different angles of the benching all work the chest, but they just incorporate other muscles surrounding that area of the pec.
with all this said. you work the pec in general and everything surrounding it to get the look you want. that upper area you are referencing is more like the anterior deltoids and shouler area incorporating on the pec working as a whole
