and how deep do you go?
Im thinking that perhaps you're tempo is a bit off...
but in any case, 10 rep squatters suck balls. i can squat 315+ free and pretty deep (below parallel atleast) but when it comes to doing 10 reps....225 is a struggle.
some people are built for high rep squats and some arent. look at strongmen...Andrew cook I believe can do 20 reps with 405...that type of strength doesn't come overnight. it takes ages to generate that amount of endurance. perhaps you're just not ready to do 10 reps with 300 lbs.
