I dont think its that straight forward. I dont usually listen to what people tell me in the gym. Sometimes I have strangers come up to me and say that my lower inner quadrant of my left pec needs work...wtf.

I think its important to take in BMR and a million other factors when making any sort of statement. I find it much more easier to pack on mass when I eat well over maintaince and lean out later by just making some small tweaks in my diet.

I dont see the logic in his statement. Why would it be harder to drop fat when you have more muscle?
