i've seen it personally....my parent's were not super strict...but i got spanked...with hands and wooden spoons
my parent's demanded respect...and they got it.
one of my nephews is always talking back to his parents....and telling them NO. it's hard for me to deal with, i wanna throttle the kid. and he's only 7. only gonna get worse.
