As long as the carb intake is a reasonable amount, then it won't get stored as fat...it will get stored as muscle glycogen. That's the nice thing about using high GI carbs. They will do their thing very quickly. And it doesn't necessarily have anything to do with what activity you'll be doing after. The carbs PWO are for recovery and to switch the body into growth mode.
