Besides increasing weight with sumo deadlifts, is there anything that I could do to increase hip strength? I suppose wide stance squats would be beneficial. What about stuff like hanging jack crunches? Another issue will obviously be not overtraining them. My hips actually feel tired this morning, but not sore...so that's a good thing. Right now I'm thinking one wide stance squat or one sumo DL a week will be good. I realize they still get plenty of work doing conventional squats & DL. Your thoughts?
I'll answer my own question...

I asked around and got a hodge podge of responses. The guys at my gym seemed to have better answers than my Health & Fitness professor who seems to be a little light on practical knowledge.

Haha the guys at the gym said "Do wide stance box squats. And shut up." Then they recommended some flat footed sled/prowler/predator pushing. That should be plenty to keep me occupied.
