Default Supplements for pre and during workout

I'm always looking for new supplements to try mainly for my pre and during workout. Currently I'm taking the NO Black Powder about half an hour before my workout and just drink water during it and have a protein shake after.

Does anyone recommend any other supplements for during workout? Or even pre-workout? What benefits do you see from these supplements.
