They're generally 2X10's, correct? If you dropped a chain off one beam and connected it a foot back and one beam over, then that would be...75lbs per beam. And even though it's not 100% straight, it shouldn't give a problem. If you did that on both sides, then you could probably hang 800lbs from it. And hanging 150lbs from a 2x10 for a couple of minutes shouldn't break it. Especially if you reinforced it. A 2x10 should be able to support an additional 150lbs anyway...easily. Otherwise fat construction workers would always be breaking floors and getting hurt.
