Eric, I enjoyed your comments and DH's write up. That was some great food for thought. I know where I am and I know where I'm going. For some reason I haven't reflected very much on the road I'm taking. Of course I look at individual workouts and 10 day blocks of training, but not the big picture. I sat for a while and quantified my training. It was cool.
I've been thinking about doing a three week hypertrophy/balancing phase. I need to put on more size. I don't enjoy hypertrophy training as much as strength training, but I think the change will be refreshing. I want to increase GPP also. I'll be doing some more sled work, cleans, more DB work, and some strong man stuff. I played with the atlas stones this week and that was very cool. I've been afraid to do cleans because of form. I need to get some instruction...I train at the perfect place for it. I'm going to go over all of my weak points and give them extra focus during this period. It will probably change the way I train after I finish the hypertrophy phase. I'm looking forward to it.
