Oh, another thing we forogt to bring up is form. You gotta try to be as strict as possible so that you are not using cheating movements in a weaker side to make up..becasue cheating means LESS muscular work being done. This shouldn't be as much of an issue with the barbell but with dumbells it is very easy to fall into a habit of tweaking the movement a bit on the weaker side without realizing it.
