Oh, I think you took me wrong. I think your doing a great job with the finish and you get a very nice retraction. And truthfully a lot of people put the bar down like it's a hot potato after barely locking out so relatively speaking you are kinda holding the retraction, lol. If you want to hold it longer at times, which I also do, that's great too.

What I was getting at is I'm not sure how much you are trying to pull your shoulders back and extend the t-spine (which will retract the scapula) from the BEGINNING. This protects the shoulders and is something you need to learn to do as much as possible.
