Ok, now I understand. And I agree, running, makes you good at running, no doubt about it. endurance is specific, hitting the treadmill isn't going to allow me to punch for hours on end, or kick for that matter. I would have to train those specific things to bring my endurance up in those areas.

I guess at this point I'm just working with what I have available, and thats a weighted vest, various kettlebells, and a treadmill. But i will expand my endurance training as i go, and incorporate whatever is fitting at the time.
