Funny you post this because I was thinking about this over Christmas.

Now to the web site you gave, I agree and I disagree. The way he talks about omega 6's is like they are the devil, which is the name of one of the books he talks about. But they are only the devil if taken in large dosages, which is kinda what he says the world is doing now. Omega 6 is NOT bad as long as it's taken in the right amounts, but with the oils that are regularly used, they are "bad" because of the amount of Omega 6 that are in them and the fact that people do not get enough Omega 3's to balance this out. One thing he left out is, or barley touched upon, is cooking with these good oils and what happens, spoiler alert, they can become bad because they break down and change from the heat. Some of the other sites he points to do talk about this but if you don't know what to look for, it's a little hard to follow.

Good read overall, I just don't like that he leaves out that omega 6 are good, just in smaller dosages than we take now. It's almost like he is doing what others have done with saturated fats, i.e., people condemed sat fats because they raise LDLs but in reality they are needed and not that bad as long as we get them from Natural sources and in small to moderate amounts. I guess the key is to make sure that mono fats are up higher than all and polly and sats are low with sats coming from animals and other natural sources and never use refined anything.

This guy pretty much has the same outlook as I did, and what I thought when I started looking into this.

This is another site that I thought was good for this topic.
