IMO, though people always have these questions ass backwards. No offense meant..that's just the way we are taught to think.

It's going to affect your PERFORMANCE. Anything that affects your performance regulary affects your outcome. I suggest that everyone stop dwelling on physiological details like protein synthesis before they look at something that is much more simple to answer.."how does this affect my performance in the gym".

I've actually heard people ask "will being hungover affect muscle growth?"...lmao

Hey that probably answers itself..if you're so used to being hungover that you are even able to go to the gym in that state you probably drink too much.

Same thing here...if you have been regulary donating twice a week for a while while training you have "gotten used to it". But that doesn't mean it doesn't detract in a longterm way.
