THe only weight you would lose would be water weight. I suppose you might burn a few extra calories because you're sweating but not much.

I think they are generally healthy if you replenish your fluids and don't stay in too long. etc I can't see any negative affects to your weight training as long as you get your proper PWO nutrition first.
