Haha, I would not be in there if it weren't to make weight for a match. I'm surprised about the book - at the sauna near me people have newspapers and magazines and stuff in there, and yeah, I listened to my iPod the whole time without issues. The headphone cord was getting kind of frighteningly hot, though... I almost thought it was gonna melt!

As for recovery, I like moist heat (steamroom) better personally.

On a related note, has anyone here tried ice baths as a part of recovery? I don't know if it would be effective for recovering from strength training, but for wrestling we do them frequently and it works wonders relieving soreness and things. Just curious what the general opinion was.
