Shaker cups rule. And they are pretty cheap.

Even if I blend my shkes, I put them into a shaker bottle (cup, whatever). That way if anything settles, you can "shake" it up right there. No worries about having a spoon.

Sometimes, if I'm not coming right home from the gym, I'll throw a scoop of protein in a shaker before I leave the house. When I'm done working out, I just take some water from the fountain and have my cocktail right there.
