Monday February 23rd

I went back to maximal deads because I've been wanting to do them for a couple weeks now. I wanted to make it a super low volume day so I decided to just dick around and see what sort of max I could get. I managed to do well coming up to 375 and it was actually easy aside from my legs being a bit shaky, but then I ran out of gas on 395. It wasn't for lack of back strength, it was a matter of fatigued hamstrings and glutes. They just didn't want to fire and I barely made it off the floor. I tried 375 again but I didn't get it off the floor by more than an inch.

I pretty much went all the way from 255 to 395 using 20lb increments...probably not the best move lol. But I really wasn't expecting to get that high initially.

I really thought I had 395 in the bag, oh well, so as I was furiously unloading the bar lol I decided to stop at 315 and grab some more reps for the day. Even they were tough at this point.

Decided to do some of these since my hamstrings were holding me back, bit of an impulse move.

That +30 was a real bitch.
