An old friend of mine once told me to do light squats (I use 135, 3 sets of 15) before every heavy workout. The quads are the biggest muscle and they get the blood and supplements pumping through your body fast before you hit the real weights. Been doing this for a while and, if nothing else, gets my momentum going for a great workout.
