Msbee,

It's actually good when people write a long post. I think I was able to pick up a little bit on where you are at.

One thing I noticed is in talking about the various "pros" you saw...you never mentioned a doctor. I know it sounds like a cliche when people say, see a doctor before you begin an exercise routine and diet but there ARE things that can affect how your diet and exercise regime turn out and your reaction to it.

It's good to have a baseline. For instance, are you light headed and nauseous because you aren't eating enough alone or does, say, hypoglycemia have anything to do with it?

Having said, that, I am NOT trying to look for excuses for you. I'm just talking about information that will help you plan, etc..

The biggest thing I got is this sense of desperation. If you go into it like it is a race against a pack of wild dogs then you will get the results you've been getting.

So I'm going to buck tradition and say that you should first work on trying to cool your brain, so to speak.

This is why I don't like it when everybody just says "read the stickies". All that accomplishes is making people think there are a million and one great choices and no matter which one they pick...the other one would have been better.

Forget about the exercise right now. Diet comes first. You cannot cardio or weight lift off a bad diet. You caloric deficit was too high, as Pity said.

Get the diet squared away. It is not an "all or nothing" proposition. You must set priorities and then tackle them one at a time, in regards to planning.

If you act sanctimonious I will just list out your logical fallacies until you get pissed off and spew blasphemous remarks.
