That "one body part once a week" is not necessarily true. A muscle usually recovers in about 2-3 days. You can set up your program to hit the major muscle groups about twice a week or every five days.

Looks like you are patterning your training after professional bodybuilders--this is not necessarily the best for a natural trainee.
