Like iron_worker said only you knows how much your body needs rest and workput routine. In my opnion 3 days workout routine then rest is a good thing. Few days ago Wieder's complete bodybuilding guide was online and i downloaded it many useful things and tips including the workout routines. He introduce 2 routines and speciially said that both the professional as well as beginners can follow this routine.
1. 3 days workout 4th day rest and again 3 days workout.
2. 4 days workout and 5th day rest and again from 6th day keep doing working out.
Thats what he called it the best way and the best routine to buildup your muscle.
Now you see you are giving too much rest to your body so in my opnion you are giving enough rest to your body because evey muscle you workout needs only 24 -48 hours to recover after recovering its ready to squeeze ready to workout again. So you knows better about your body then others. Suits yourself ^_^
