It is rather difficult to gain muscle while dieting.

Now, it is not impossible, but for you it seems rather unlikely, since you aren't taking any supplements...especially a post workout.

A lot depends on more information. To some people, going to a center with weights and doing sit ups and curls is building their body. What are you doing? What are some of your training schedules? What are your lifts looking like weight wise? What is your height and weight? Are you a male or female?
