Welcome to the board

I can relate with the disc problems, I also herniated my L4,L5 discs and have had to modify my workouts. Just take it slow and listen to your body, you'll be surprised at what exercises you can still do but again the trick is paying attention to form and listening to your body. Building up your core and activating it during your exercises will help with the lower back as well.
