If you are eating adequately then you should bulk no problem, if theres some nutritional flaws and you are not recording/ training at a high level of intensity the results might be impacted in a negative way.

Couldn't agree more! Properly knowing your caloric baseline is essential. 500cal could make a world of difference in weight gain. Something I learned later than I should have!
