I actually tried Triacana the french version of this, back in the early nineties. The only side effect I got was mild shortness of breath, but it works good though! Good luck Reporter!

I have to admit that I am wanting to try Trimax, but just a little worried about the ol thyroid although I have heard some good things with Trimax.

I know what you mean, but it's not that suppresive to the ole thyroid if you don't abuse this stuff. You may have a bit of a rebound for about a week after you stop taking it, but it's nothing like Cytomel! That stuff if used to long might permanently shut your thyroid down. Either way good luck to all of you guys that decide to take it!

Oh yea, your right. The other thing I heard about it was the rebound effects from such a drastic weight lose.

The main problem GD, with the Cytomel is the lethargy, there just isn't anything that will get you going. And the second is the fat gain afterwards, your metabolism is shot for a few weeks. And it's hard enough just getting out of bed to do your dailies, now try to muster up the energy to work out!

With the Triacana I had the rebound effect last approximately 1 week and a couple of days. I would take my temp first thing in the morning and it had gone from 96.5 to 97.2. 96.5 being a few days after the ending of the compound and the 97.2 when everything started to normalize. It's still something that shouldn't be toyed around with. As long term use will cause your thyroid to shut down. Just something to think about.

From the research I have done on it and the cycles I have reviewed, it seems to if you are following it properly it works good, but I do agree it isn't anything to play around.

As long as you take care of yourself you should come back easily. It is also good to stay hella strict on diet when coming off to minimize the gains with low metabolism. Mallet at AR has a lot of T3/thyroid posts, here is one on recovery http://forums.anabolicreview.com/showthread.php?t=92331 . He recommended t-100, Now people like gugglesterons (sp) to speed recovery. T3 can be harsh, but I havent read much on anyone being shut down totally and having to take their t3/t4 every day for life, As with anything we do with our bodies, Its good to know how we aer affected by things. Just watch over your temp while on the tri-max, and you should be money. Good luck.

It's my fourth day on Trimax. I bumped it up to 3 caps a day, that's 6 mgs a day. I swear, it's hard to figure the old bod out sometimes. Since Monday, I've been tight as hell on eating and cardio. Do you ever diet so hard that you are just nauseous all the time? It's been steak and eggs and chicken breast, tuna out of the can and whey shakes 24/7.

My workouts have been kick-ass, strength is still ramping and I'm definitely putting on muscle. But since Monday, the scale has just barely budged. I mean, we're talking half a pound.

So yesterday, I'm walking around the supermarket, in total hypo, and I can't even think straight and nothing even looked remotely appetizing. So I grab a frozen carrot cake and some sea salt cashews and I'm out the door. I grab my wife and I said we're checking out the new Thai restaurant in town. It was awesome, but I filled up so fast because my stomach has shrunk quite a bit and I've hardly been eating any carbs. The carbs just filled me up and the gas was volcanic all night long. I know, TMI!

But my whole point of the story is I woke up 2.5 pounds lighter!!! So I'm sure it's the Trimax kicking in finally, and the workout at noon was a sick one. All I did was back and traps, no cardio, but my shirt was soaked. I had to sit there in the locker room and totally recover. I couldn't even down my PWO shake, I almost thought I was going to hurl, too. So thank God a cheat meal sometimes ends up making me leaner and with more fuller muscles. Go figure.
