It's hard for us to tell you what to do when we don't know what your doing.

HOw much are you eating ( total cals / break it down to pro/fat/carb 0

If you in the gym 5 times a week now , what are you doing ? Maybe your doing to much.

Give lots of detail and if you don't know what your eating then start to write everything down . Do this for atleast a week.

Fat is fat is fat. The stomach and lower abdomen are typically two of the last places you'll lose it fat.

I cut my drinking out entirely, and i saw results alot faster when i did this. i know its not an easy thing to do, especially at my age as all my friends want to do is go out drinking, but ive found it extremely beneficial, and i feel alot better now that i am not drinking

It depends on your body condition. So make sure you ask a personal trainer about this. Instead of doing heavy workouts do more cardio spend more time running, skipping, swimming. Also do more for abs.

I agree with Twoshay I quite drinking a couple months ago and between nov 3 and dec 8 I lost 2% off my abdomen. and another thing to remember is that your body is probably just getting rid of that snickers or fried food you ate when you were drinking two months ago. for men in general the stomach area is a main storage area so that is the first place it will store and the last place to burn, opposed to women (hips and butt). also I don't know how many meals a day you eat but smaller portions more often is going to help speed up your metabolism, also try not to eat a heavy meal right before bed (i.e. beer munchies ). stick with it man good luck

i drink regularly (not hard just a few)
it is true you will lose fat MUCH faster if you stop drinking entirely but that just no fun lol important thing to remember is not to eat fatty food while and after drinking... since your body try to burn the alcohol before burning fat all the fat you eat while consuming alcohol will be store directly as fat....
simply keep your routine going and avoid foods (especialy chiken wings ;-) ) while and after drinking youll notice quite a change.... also check what you mix if soda pick diet soda or water... simple changes like this youll see a major difference... losing fat can be easy if you dont drive yourself crazy over it
