Default cardio and weights

hey guys

just wondering what would be the best way to go about losing some kilos (around 5-8kgs) but also putting on some muscle?

should i lift on mon, tues, thurs, fri and also do HIIT mon, wed, fri or any other suggestions?

also with my diet, should i still be eating lots or cut back a bit.

thanks, brad

You won't do both unless you are completley new to weightlifting, or genetically gifted. To lose weight you need to be burning more calories then you are consuming so there needs to be a calorie deficit, you won't build muscle in a calorie deficit OR it will be difficult. Cardio isn't even needed to lose fat, but it helps. I do it for the cardivascular benifits rather then the fat burning.

brad, some stats and specific goals would help us out a lot here. Simply saying I want to gain muscle an lose fat is a little too general for us to give good advice.

What in the world was that about? Damn, bro, you've pretty much assured yourself of getting no help. Hrdgain was simply being honest with you about what he needed. If you want some one size fits all crapola then just pick something at random from the net.

If you act sanctimonious I will just list out your logical fallacies until you get pissed off and spew blasphemous remarks.

Your right it is pretty simple.

If you want to lose 5-8kgs quickly go cut off your right leg. Then do one legged Hiit sprints, three days a week.

As for putting on muscle, I think you have enough meathead.

Brad you need to be more specific, start with mentioning your training experience and current program, weight, aprox BF and caloric intake if you know.

Dude, that is SOOO true. I've been waiting for someone to have the guts to point that out. A guy that has a lot of money cannot buy a dinosaur. That's keepin it real, you know, cuz dinosaurs are extinct. So people should stop trying to buy them.
