gain muscles is by training them so inducing injury which the body tries to repair and by giving your body the ingredients to build these muscles like proteins and vitamins

Focus on training with the big compound movements. Get enough rest and nutrition. That's kind of a summary of what you will need to do to gain muscle.

focused on training with free weight exercise to pack on more muscle mass like bench press,dips,pull up,deadlift,barbell press and squat.

Three basic rules:

- Have a proper workout with slow and controlled movements
- Eat very good
- Sleep a lot

Hi RN1986,
Some tips for you to gain muscles.
Eat right and take more proteins in your daily diet. Increase your water intake and raise the number of repetitions you do or the amount of weight you lift. Watch your cardiovascular workout.

High protein, Low sugar carbs / High complex carbs. Lots of fruits and vegetables.

Have a good workout daily with proper rest too. Also have some Mass gainer supplements which really effects good in muscle building too.

Just focus on training because it is only way of gaining muscles.You should also improve your diet.Eat healthy food which are rich in protein,vitamins etc.
