Default Ketogenic Diet

I was wondering if anybody here has tried a ketogenic or carb depleting diet like CKD? And I guess I have a few questions on the subject that you might be able to help answer.
What were the results?
Is it safe?
Advantages?
Side effects?
Will it burn fat quicker then regular diets?
Will it be catabolic? and how can you avoid muscle loss?
Can you still build muscle and gain strength on this type of diet?
Will there be a lack of energy that will effect your workouts?

If you act sanctimonious I will just list out your logical fallacies until you get pissed off and spew blasphemous remarks.

Have you read the book ???

Have you read the book by Lyle McDonald? that would be the first thing you should do. It will probably answer most of the questions you have on the subject.

IM me for more info on the book if your interested

I have been on the CKD for the last 3 weeks. And I've been getting my best results ever for cutting.

I've dropped 3.5% Bf in 3 weeks:
I was at 203 Lbs 23%
Now 196lbs 19.5%

This is a really strict and rigorous diet and program. The trick is to get back into Keto as quick as you can by using weight training early in the week. Then a strick no carb diet during the week with heavy cardio.

This diet/program is just as much about protecting your muscles as it is about cutting fat. You really cant expect to gain any muscle or strength while on this program but it is great for cutting stubborn fat IMO.
