Dolce & Gabbana generally runs around 70 bucks an ounce. Not too bad.

I was talking about the men's cologne.

The stuff I wear runs roughly 120 and ounce of parfum and about 85 and ounce for eau de toilette.

And what the f*** is that supposed to mean?

....That I only wear nice parfum simply because I'm a chick and I'm *supposed* to have expensive, gratuitous tastes?

Pffft!!!

ETA - you REALLY should learn to not be so descriminating towards the opposite gender.

^^not all women have expensive taste, but as a general rule I think men have an easier time not smelling so good

whoa there... i wasn't trying to make this offensive at all. just saying that girls tend to lean more on the nicer/ expensive items... and no i'm not trying to discriminate on any gender or anyone. obviously you took it the wrong way and took it as if i were to attack you. and i'm sorry if you feel this way i can just ignore you and stay away. and i'm pretty sure most would agree 120 an ounce is fairy expensive, then again i guess its the consumers choice. so with that said i'm sorry that i offended you in any way it wasn't my intentions to.

120 for an ounce of parfum isn't bad at all. Parfum is the concentrated form. It takes maybe 1 DROP of a parfum to get the effect that 6 or 7 sprays of eau de toilette will give you. So in the long run, my 120 dollar bottle of parfum will outlast the 'cheaper' stuff by a long shot, and essentially be more cost effective than the less expensive watered down stuff.

I just didn't appreciate the insinuations in two of your posts in this one thread that women spend too much money on things. Perhaps I took it wrong, but that's the way it came across to me.
