Facial Cleansers
(holy crap, can't believe I am actually discussing this...is this the kind of things that are topics on female fitness forums?)
Anyhow...what do you all use for facial cleansers, especially those with oily skin? My skin has more oil than Saddam Hussein ever did, and I usually use Cetaphil "normal to oily formula" on my face, chest, and arms. It was recommended to me by a dermatologist. Sometimes I use that St. Ives Swiss Formula with tea tree and chamomile, but if I accidently get it on my lips or nose, I have found it will dry out mucous membranes for days.
FWIW following the recommendations of many people over on the BN forums, I take about 3g a day of vitamin B5 to manage acne, and it works miracles.

I used to use nuetrogena stuff (cant remember the name) but it had menthol in it ... its in a yellow tube with a white cap. take a hot shower, put that on your face, and it cools it off, its a great feeling.
I havent had much use for it since i've moved south, my skin has been pretty good since i did. must be the water or something.

I just use what ever my wife has on the counter. If it wasn't for her i guess I wouldn't use anything. She usually is buying the latest overpriced cleansers/creams and then yelling at me not to use her stuff and get her own. I just tell her, then buy more.

My brother uses Clearasil, I think its crap. He is an oily dude, and the stuff has alcohol to dry you out and clean ya up. If you can handle alcohols, try it or what hrdgain said.
Personally, Ill use a oatmeal soap bar once in a while. I have a cherry vanilla oatmeal, The oatmeal is good for the skin. Try a general search for some sites, here is a quick one. http://www.honeyoatmealsoap.com/indexframe2.html
Ive liked the soap.

I use the hard stuff when I need to. Just buy some SeaBreeze astringent and some cottonballs and your set. I have tried the clearasil face wash in the shower but I don't know if it really does anything.

I use the Clinique Men's line. It uses great products for cleaning and moisturizing. They also have other products that help well with the T-zone and pore-minimizing. Here is a link just in case your interested:

Ok you guys pulled me in, I'm going to go check this stuff out. I need to start taking better care of my skin and these products look like they will help. As I start to age my skin on my body is becoming thinner, something I don't mind, but I do mind the skin on my face! I'm going today after work to the Clinique counter at the mall.
