Guess I should have posted in this thread

Hey everyone, I heard about this site and joined up awhile ago.. but forgot about it just starting to post now. Just noticed this little section for introductions, so I suppose they are in order. I'm a 26 year old guy from Manitoba Canada. I've always been interested in weightlifting and have done it here and there on again off again ever since I bought my first set when I was about 14. Well, a few years ago I was in a bad car accident and really let myself go to crap.. fat, lazy, out of shape the whole bit. Wasn't until about a year ago that I really noticed just how out of shape I was so started excersising slowely again. Eventually I stumbled upon a bodybuilding forum where there were some really nice and informative people, many of whom are here now, I started to find some inspiration. Gradually I became more and more obsessed with working out, eating healthier just plain living healthier... now I'm a full blown addict. Since december I lost about 20 lbs of fat.. first by working harder in the gym and eating better.. then by trying something new.. the famous CKD. Now I've reached a level of bf I'm more or less comfortable with (for now) and just trying to eat healthy and clean and work my ass off in the gym. Goals include eventually putting on more muscle and decreasing bf a little more... just not sure what to do right now. To be honest I'm tired of cutting so just eating cleanly slightly above maintenance and working as hard as I can in the gym.. and I'm loving it. I'm here to learn as much as I can, and hopefully help anyone I can along the way. So, good to be here and nice to meet ya guys and gals lets see how far we can push ourselves :)

Hey man, yeah I'm from winterpeg and you are right.. it is stupid cold here in the winter. There are times when it's -40 outside and you're thinking.. what the hell am I doing living here for  Summers can be pretty nice, bad last one blew. Good luck with lowering bf, CKD does work just have to be pretty strict with it.. and don't forget the fibre!! My results did seem to slow down after awhile.. the first 4 weeks or so was very rapid weightloss though. Didn't get the bf quite as low as I wanted but got tired of cuttng.. now I'm enjoying the eating :D
