Default Greetings Everyone

Hello everyone, Gee where to start

Let's see, I'm Bryan from West Virginia, 36 years old, #164, 5'9" started lifitng a few months ago, wish I had started sooner. I'll post some pics from a week after starting my program. I just need to get them scanned. I've been reading tons of material, never hurts to study and I've created a routene I really enjoy. I workout for at least 40min Mon-Fri, take Saturdays off, and workout lightly on Sunday for at least 30min.

I've went to gyms in the past, but never could get motivated. I might go back in the future, but have spent several hundred on equipment here at home which has really motivated me ;) My little home gym consists of a set of Cap Standard weights, 2 standard dumbells and 1 standard barbell, and an Xodus bench. The bench includes Lat Pull, Preacher Curl, Leg Entension & Curl, and Inclined Bench Press, although I only do dumbell presses since I don't usually have a spotter.

My short term goals are:

1: Gain strength.
2: Bulk up then cut to the weight I want.
3: Lower my body fat %
4: Eat better (although I've never ate that bad, but it is good to try to do better)
4: Have fun with what I'm doing/Keep good attitude

My long term goals are:
1: Keep strengh and perhaps gain more strength
2: Maintain a weight of 155# and a good fat %
3: Continue eating healthy
4: Create new goals and don't stop

My limitations:
1: I'm 36, not 20!!!
2: I have two slipped disks in my lower back which affects feeling in my left leg.
3: I have neuropathy in both legs.
4: I know my left leg will likely not look as good nor lift as much weight as the right one, but that is okay. I try to work a few more reps with just the left to compensate.

I think that's about it, Nice meeting everyone

Thanks Brad and guys. I've been learning a lot. Yep, if I have a question you bet I'll ask it. My feelings about goals is to set realistic ones, if you make unrealistic ones you will give up. My target date for my short term ones is November 22nd. For me it is best to make a series of short goals that build on each one. Than make one large one that is years down the road.

Time to start today's workout
