Default Hello, novice bodybuilder here
Hi everybody, I found this site by accident, and I really like it already. I am planning on doing my first show this October 21 in Buffalo. I have no experience to speak of in this sport, but will ask some of you for advice. I am a bit old to start BB, (33) but like working out and having a goal to achieve. I am looking forward to learning and interacting with all of you. Last year at this time I was out of shape and lazy. I had ballooned to over 200lb's, and now I am a strong and lean 180lb's. I hit personal bests as well on running the 1.5 mi at 8min 15 seconds and benching 335lb's. I think I know enough about the sport to be confused, so I will be doing lots of reading here.

Jeff, I am competing in the October 21 Olympus here in Buffalo, NY.
Jerry Marsala is the main sponsor and organizer, and it is a Natural Muscle event.

One of the areas biggest shows is tonight, it is the CAN/AM at the Univ of Buffalo Center. I have one friend who is competing in it, but he didn't work his legs very well, and I don't expect him to score to high there.
