yep...one more
Hi guys,
I originally joined some 2 months ago. I linked on a couple of times then for some reason i was not able to post. I have been trying to reset my password since. Finally i got through.
Without trying to bore you guys, here my thing:
I am 35 y.o
I was in a sports program in highschool.
I joined the Marines after highschool, unfortuneatley i tore ligaments and cartiliage in my knee, was given inactive status then general discharge.
I went to work as a shopman and worked my way up to Ironworker.
I have a couple of cars and a mortgage.
After breaking up with my girl, i realized that i was not the person i had imagined myself to be.
I am currently trying to rectify my issues by going back to school, trying to watch what i eat, and exercising.
Well heres my stats:
5' 9-3/4" tall
currently i weigh 190lbs.
16-1/4 arms
44 1/2 chest
I need help on creating a diet ( i am not a good cook, so maybe something at a store?)
I need help on my exercise strategy. I do some bench press, arm curls, and walk-run 3 miles in the evening.
Need to join a gym of some sort, if anyone in the southern los angeles area would like a training partner just e-mail me.
My goal is to be huge. I know that i'm at a disadvantage to to my age but i am committed.
Thanx,
Iron Dawgg

I'm from Orange County. If you could make your way to Huntington Beach area, I could help you start off.
Welcome.

Thanx, C.N., 0311,
yes i would like to take you up on that offer 0311.
But let me first say that I am in no way near the level u are.
abouth the "tons of threads" here on bb.net, you're not lying. Shit i must have gone thru most. The advice is top notch! The problem i have is trying to stick to one.
i'm going to post some pictures of me when i started my "transformation", one month later, i was droppng weight like crazy, then i joined the forum and read
some reviews and began to question why i should continue to drop weight so i started gaining again.
tell me what you guy's think, don't worry about hurting my feelings, just let me have it.

guys,
intially i was 223lbs. when i started reading the posts and taking in some othe the advice. A month, +/- a week or two, into the excersise routine i weighed 175lbs. Currently, im at 192 lbs. I'll take some pics. and post them tomorrow.
noticeable effects:
My arms went from a 15" to 15 1/2" to 16 1/4" dry.
I'm losing more HAIR !
Went from a pant size 42 to a 38
Have more stamina and concentration
also i must add, i changed my habbits, don't hang around drinking with co-workers anymore, gone back to school, and all this i have to thank my-ex for.
I started weight training at the beginning of the fall 05 semester (1st week of september). the semester ended on the 19thish of december. I took the first set of pics in sept., the second pair of pics in oct. and i'll take the last set tomorrow.

interesting thread...
hmm... i don't know what to say... i don't have THAT much of experience to open my mouth...
but, you mentoined "hair loss"... are you on any supplements and stuff...?
what workout do you follow...?
oh.. good work with the progress... is that you pulling your stomach in to look better or is it loose..?
i don't mean to bash you in any way Iron Dawgg, but i think i've seen that pick of yours on many many bodybuilding threads... is that just a coincidence..? forgive me, but i know Photoshop very well (did an animation course a while back ;)) you know what.... i know why i thought that pic was familiar...!!! : it looks likes Christian Thibeadeau before he transformed...!!
hmmm....
