Default New and in the sand...

Well I feel some what silly for joining a bodybuilding fourm, but I'm lost. Ok here I go.

I started lifting after I got back from Iraq the first time. I was 225 and 21% body fat at the time. In 5 months I went to 240 and 15% body fat. Now after 2 and a half years I'm back in the army and back in Iraq. My weight now is 255 and 22% body fat. I loved my body back than, and I want to get it back and get bigger than that. When I was lifting the first time I was in Germany and eat everything and drinking like a fish. Now being here in Iraq(can't drink or really eat fat boy food) I can't loss the fat or get any size...

I know its going to take time to get back to looking alright. But what can I really do to help. What can I take to help, and do?

Thanks, the Infantry guy.

First off, welcome, glad to see you made the jump and joined.
Second, read the stickys in the training and nutrition sections to help you get a better understanding of where you could start and more specific questions you could ask to give you the results you need.

Welcome to the board

Ditto to what Eric suggests, the stickies are a great place to start. We also have a few military guys here who can probably give you some pointers as how to accomplish your goals while in the service, so feel free to ask.

Sleazy mixed Dave and me up. I consider that a compliment!

Welcome to the board. If you want to slim down, watch out for MRE's.

If you act sanctimonious I will just list out your logical fallacies until you get pissed off and spew blasphemous remarks.
