Default Well, here goes (first pics)

Hey everybody, thought I'd start with posting some of my progress photos. I haven't taken any before photos, so I had to browse around to find these on my computer. Unfortunately they don't show much, but should give a general idea.

This was back in March 07:

not sure what my weight was...I wasn't working out very much back then, I had only barely used what we had at home at the time (a crossbow machine). I'm about 5'11", and I'm guessing I weighed around 140-145 (?)

Here's another from the same time - I lit the hell out of it though, so I look a little better (still WAAAY too skinny):

Here's one right after I started working out in the summer of 08. I was rock climbing mostly, which helped me get stronger and more into lifting.

And a silly compilation thing I made about a month later. Again, I lit it to make myself look better (heck, why not? haha) :

I included my most recent shots I have of me (taken last night, cold) in my next comment.

My posing is crap, and I had to hurry to get in the right spot before my camera's self timer went off . :-)

...

It seems to me like I haven't gained very much in the past several months. However, I think I lost my water weight and have gained some actual muscle (I was taking bsn cellmass and nitrix before, just protein now) instead, so I guess that counts as progress. I am DEFINITELY a hard gainer though, I've found it very difficult (even with eating a ton).

Any tips or major problems based on what you see?

thanks man.

I'm not sure actually, as I didn't really weigh myself very much before. I'm guessing I was around 140-145. Right now I'm about 153. I've gained a good 4 pounds in the past two weeks, so I'm going to try to continue out the diet I've recently started).

I have a hard time visualizing what a ton is, how many calories are you eating per day (fitday.com will help you figure it out if you don't know). Most of the time being a definite hardgainer means a definite wakeup call

You've only got pictures, maybe start a thread detailing your workout routine and diet. Pictures alone won't help anyone to see if there are any problems, and giving specific advice for future gains is very difficult/impossible.

fair enough

I'm actually planning on starting up a plan listing out my workout routine and current diet. Until about a month ago, I was just eating whatever and whenever I could. My family was really healthy growing up, so I knew (for the most part) what to stay away from. Where would be the best place to post that? I also have several other questions, which I'm figuring might have to be split into a few sections and threads...one thread with a few questions would be easier though.

Just wanted to say I HATE YOU!!! I just have to look...naw ...wait..think about pizza and I get fatter.

Like said earlier, the best way to tell what you have going on is to just post up a typical day's diet. and your routine....also take a look at the stickies and past threads, lots of great info in there.
