That's not enough protein...3 shakes should get you higher than 150/day. You should be at about 250grams/day, probably more, for a bulk cycle.

When I say "shake" I don't mean like things you can buy at like GNC (Muscle Milke, Whey Protein, etc.) I don't take any of that cause it doesn't agree with my body. I drink non-fat dry milk, it's god awful but it's as close to a real potein shake as I can get. About 20 grams of protein per shake

So you never found a whey protein you could use? If so, that's too bad.

That's still not a bad amount of protein. You can gain on that although more would be better. I personally have never found a shred of concrete evidence that anything over 1.4 to 1.8 grams of protein does any more good in terms of muscle protein synthesis. Just add to you overall calories. Which of course is great if that is your goal. If you want to round it up to 2 grams to be more confident and so forth then go for it.

I'll probably get blasted for this but I highly doubt that it is absolutely necessary for you to take in more than 1.5 grams to see maximum gains. For little skinny guys like me the carbs are just as important and I tend to concentrate on keeping the protein to what is actually necessary and maybe a little higher but to lean on the side of all the good carbs I can get in and extra fat from olive oil and all the efa's I take.

Your protein is still somewhat too low, though

I have been having a hard time keeping it up. I generally eat only 5 or 6 different foods. Over a 6 month period it gets old eating the same thing over and over again every day.
