Default before, and some progress!

this is my before shot, ten months ago. I started going to the gym five months later...so it has been five months working out now! (no one has accused me of being quick) Anyways...still have to upload my current picture from the camera, which is in the wife's purse, who is currently at nordstroms...uh oh...(camera will be the only thing left in the purse, all money spent!) rambling...

ASAP I will post where I am at now with my progress...diet modified and comp. ex's added recently. Amazing to see the old picture though.

Thank you for your patience...

You definitely look a lot larger. Don't know how you could have any doubt of it.

Your body fat may have went up a bit sort of evenly over your body but there is no doubt you have made some very good progress.

If you act sanctimonious I will just list out your logical fallacies until you get pissed off and spew blasphemous remarks.

thanks Eric and ChinpieceDave,

I have definately gained both muscle and fat, but that is what i expected when i started eating to bulk!

I really appreciate your comments, a few weeks ago I was discouraged when a coworker of mine flippantly told me he didn't see any progress in my size. Looking back I think he was speaking without thinking, for we are constantly chatting about workouts and our soreness. But then, the same day, another person unprovoked, implied they didn't see a difference.

I am not taking their comments too seriously now, but at the time, it hurt my confidence! We put in so much effort and time, it is hard to hear our efforts are unnoticable! Again though, seeing my before and now pictures I believe my efforts are starting to pay off, and I feel GREAT! Totally addicted!

When people see you all the time, with the changes being so gradual, they often fail to notice. Who you want to listen to are the people who don't see you as often. Say once or twice a year or so...

+1 on what Eric said. That actually happened to me today, when a friend that I hadn't seen in about 6 months saw me. She said I look a lot better. That shouldn't be your motivation, though, it should be YOUR entire desire to become a monster! It is for me. They may also be discouraged b/c you haven't made some huge, IFBB-sized change. They prob. don't know that getting swollen is a game of patience. But you WITHOUT a doubt look, no you ARE much bigger!! As long as you are getting stronger, you pretty much are getting bigger, just keep eating well, get enough sleep, and keep lifting!!

You are definitely making progress. Like Eric said, people who see you everyday may not pay as much attention because progress is gradual and they are used to seeing you. Take it from us, you are getting bigger, now go eat something
