Default Not your usual Before and After shots..!

Hi..!

just wanted 2 intro myself. started bb'ing circa 1983, when in the Marine Corps. 6', 155lbs when started, 6', 204lbs at biggest/best shape, all natural. 19" arms (pumped), 28" thighs, 46" chest, 31" waist. my goal was always a perfect balance of size, symmetry, and proportion.

will turn 48 this January. injured my shoulder in 1987, and never lifted seriously again. did return to lifting at age 39 for about 9 months, made great gains, but just lost interest and returned to life without bb'ing.

recently, about 5 months ago, started lifting again. have made considerable gains in size/strength, and bdoyfat decrease. happy with progress so far, but do have a considerable amount of joint pain.

i included a (bad) photo of me when i was 27, so almost 21 years ago, not at my biggest but close in timeframe. b4 this photo was taken, i thought i had finally gained critical mass sufficient to enter my first show, which would have been the Mr. Delaware contest, but was injured b4 i got the chance. This shot is about 2 days after i won the Best Body on the Beach contest, held monthly throughout the summer in Ocean City, MD...just wanted to get in front of a crowd as a prelim...

anyway, i may stop in from time to time, and hope i may be able to contribute.

sorry 4 the poor quality of the image, it is a scan of a 21 year old pic. I have others, but never scanned them, and don't have scanner access right now. i will post if i get the chance. i also included a pic i took about 1 month ago, so 4 months after i started lifting again. I'm about 185 in the pic, down from a fat 206.

at 27 years of age (4 years bb'ing):

about one month ago, 47 years old, 5 months bb'ing:

Default Thanks..!

Hey, guys...and gals..!

Thanks 4 the welcome. I know, most b4 and after photos are the other way around, showing improvement, but some things happen in life that u don't have any control over. Even after I injured my shoulder, i never thought i wouldn't return to the gym. I've really, missed it, and forgot how addicting a pump can be...i'll try 2 post some progress pics in the future.

If you act sanctimonious I will just list out your logical fallacies until you get pissed off and spew blasphemous remarks.
