You'll probably get a pretty fast rebound and gain that weight back pdq. A good bit of the weight was probably "stuff" in the muscle rather than muscle itself although you may have dropped some of that too.

I was just out for two weeks (still a little sick, dammit) and I dropped about 3 pounds but I expect that will be back in no time and I'll probably end up putting on an extra pound or two on top of it.

Yeah I'm pretty sore right now, I just have to give it a week or two and lift light till my body gets use to it again. So would that mean I'll be getting NEWBIE gains again? meaning fast gains with in a month or two? I'm probley just paranoid or self concious about myself I don't know maybe even addicted that I don't think I'm even big? Well thanks anyways I'll let you guys know when I get that weight back.

Well to be honest I don't see a substantial difference. When you are actively working out your muscles store more nutrients so that makes them look bigger. When you have a lay off you start to look more deflated and that is all it looks like to me. I understand you lost weight but what you are feeling is normal. The last thing anyone wants is to feel like their hard work is going down the drains. But this won't be the only time it happens and you will begin to see it's not the end of the world. As you reach a latter stage of "maturity" you should find that you don't drop weight so drastically. Also, you need to really keep up with your eating during those periods.

Thanks Eric, yeah maybe because I'm just not at where I want to be. I'll just hit the weights harder then ever and eat everyday like its Thanksgiving dinner.

hey man - i was just looking at your post, and wondering how you're doin! i would agree, like the rest of the posts, that eating everything in sight would be incredible, and really help you gain. but please, post some pix! let us know how you're doin!

the cure for un even arms no independant lifts aka dumbell anything do all bar moves for a good while and youll be cured mine were like 3/4 off and now there only a 1/4 so it will work try to really get that mind muscle connection to feel which one is pulling harder... any way if you need anymore help pm me

Default Back at the gym

Hey everybody I am finally back into the gym due to a knee injury...

So I was doing rows and DL the other night, and somebody came up to me and said to me " your doing it wrong, you should use a strap for rows and dead lifts you can hurt your self like that by having one hand facing out and one facing in" I just said to him well it doesn't bother me I mean it makes my grip stronger and it feels like I am working out my forearms as well... Then we went our ways.

Do any of you guys have any suggestions on what to do?

Over-Over (pronated) grip is my choice, it works your grip more than Over-Under (pronated-supinated) IMO. The over-under has a twisting component in it that helps your grip.

The person is probably talking about a bicep injury. With the over-under I've read there may be a chance to injure your bicep (on supinated arm), but I don't know how much weight that fact carries. Straps definitely do not prevent injury unless your grip fails and you drop the weight on your toe You shouldn't have a mixed grip for rows anyway...

Yea I feel pretty comfortable with my grip it gives me a more firmer grip when i shake hands and what not... lol thanks guys i'll keep you guys posted wth my comeback..
