Apoc,
What government level are you trying for: city, county, state, federal? I also thought you were in college in Ga. Are you going to try and finish your degree? I hope so, it will be hard but know it is possible if you work it out with your department. Good luck with the academy.

Smokey,
You look great, theres a uniform waiting for you. I have many friends in law enforcement and I must say, you will fit in nicely. Glad you on the good guys side. Good luck.

I am going to be working for the county. Yes, of course I am going to finish college. I am just going to take a semester off and then I am going back. This job is just a quick fix, just trying to get my ass back in track. I just feel so sad when I look back at my life, I was the school validictorian, but hell, now I got a 2.89 GPA. Oh, well, only time will tell what it got in the sleeves for me.

I got to agree with the others that I would be like all the others when pulled over by you and saying "Yes Sir Officer Sir". :) But then again, I treat all people who bleed blue that way for pure respect for their job and the brotherhood. It wouldn't matter if their your size or 105 soaking wet. The shield carries its own weight that demands respect.

Good job on staying in shape and keep up the hard work. I get so dissapointed when I see an out-of-shape officer. I think every department(city, county, state) should have a fitness requirement somewhat like the military. You have to pass a test and weight-in to make sure your with-in specs. Some places do that and some don't but being healthy for that particular job just is a must in my opinion.

We have to buy our uniforms. They give us a 300.00 a year allowance. Which, sucks. Cuz, our uniform pants cost 80.00 a piece. If you rip a pair in a fight, your SOL. Anywho, I have to have my uniforms custom built. If I bought a shirt off the store rack I would have to have major alterations done to it. I agree with your comment about some of my co-workers. We have some that are bad, bad, bad out of shape. But, I want to go home at the end of my shift, and I WILL! Thanks for good comments.

Good luck! It's a great field to get into. I always say "Job Security!" Don't expect to get rich. I work my 40 hours + for the state, and have a lawn care business on the side. (mowing just started. Been working my arse off.) But, it's a real rewarding job. You won't save the world, but just helping people is very rewarding. I could do other things, and make more money. But, I love my job. You're already ahead of the game by being physically fit. It will only help you. Cuz, trust me some people will try you.

I already benches 150% of my body wait, I only need 70% to qualify. Then I have to do 25 bend leg crunches, shit I can do 500 :D

Thanks for the compliment!

Man don't even get me started on the pay officers get today. I could jump on a bitching soapbox for getting you guys some more money. Every officer I know has to pull an extra job of some sort to help make ends meet.

I agree some people will try you no matter what. For some, if it hasn't happened before you have to put the cuffs on them, once they hear and feel the sound of the first cuff locking on the wrist, fight or flight kicks in and it's time to dance. Some friends of mine carry a sewing kick in their tactical bags in case their uniforms get ripped. That crap gets expensive replacing uniforms.

how much do you leg press?

HAHA, funny how true it is that people who don't know a damn thing bout lifting ask, "how much ya benching?" And it is funny that no matter how ya answer, the reply is always, "wow that's a lot!" HAHA

So, are ya sick of being told your a big boy? Caus ya are!!!! :)
I like to hear that men do work their legs too though! HAHA
See, guys like certain features on women, I can appreciate a great pair of trunks on a guy! lol
Feel free to check my pics in member photos (all of ya)! Tell me what ya think....I know what it's like to be "big!" Cutting up can be fun if you do it slow enough. I'm crazy doing it in like 3.5 months. Kinda miss being swoll...lol
Ok, wanted to say hi and be careful when you diet so you don't lose any of that fine hard muscle!
