Default Anybody watching Elite XC tonight

http://www.mmaweekly.com/absolutenm/...5710&zoneid=13

I got to say Elite is looking very good as an up and coming promotion against UFC. Ricco is looking a lot better than last time I saw him on Human Weapon. A lot of heavies fighting on the main card. I can't wait to see the Kimbo and Tank fight. It is going to be a slug fest.

I'd have to agree. Tank is way past his prime, if there ever was one. I mean don't get me wrong, Tank is a very strong guy but he doesn't have the trainers that Kimbo has, i.e., Bas and Couture. I would like to see Kimbo on the ground. It would be interesting if it does end up there, but I feel it will be a slug fest/ caveman beat down.

Yeah I saw that fight but the guy that gave up, Bo Cantrell, is 10 win and 11 losses, counting the Kimbo fight. Not exactly a winning fighter.
Tank is about 9 wins and 13 losses. Not counting his "street fighting record".

It seems like Elite XC is giving Kimbo just enough to handle and build him up and give him some experience in the cage, i.e. giving him experienced fighters that have losing records.

Once they give him a fighter with a winning record, it will be interesting to see what happens.

^^I agree. The last time I saw Tank fight he got his ass kicked within 20 seconds, I believe. I don't remember if he got choked or knocked out, but it was bad. He is a very high energy fighter though, so seeing him and Kimbo go at it should be fun.

LOL, at the "street fighter record". I believe I saw that fight as well, Ross. The competition has just gotten to stiff for fighers such as Tank. It's become exactly like a "tank" versus an armour piercing smart bomb.

If you act sanctimonious I will just list out your logical fallacies until you get pissed off and spew blasphemous remarks.

Default Kimbo might have his next challenge.

Now this will be Kimbo's hardest test to date. Buentello is a very good striker and I think it would be fireworks from start it finish.
